Hold everything... I have an idea for a romance novel! And here I go. Cupcaker baker (thinking out loud...Hmm...) meets, I don't know, small town sheriff, yes. I'm opening up my notebook, no, you know what, I'm going to get serious. Let's pull out the laptop, open a document, and commit to this. This feels good, this feels like the book that I'm actually going to finish. So here we go! Cupcake baker meets sheriff, and... (Blink. Blink. Blink.) Okay, okay, romance novel, love. I got this. Maybe I need a trope. Character names! Let's give these people names, that will get me started. (Blink. Blink. Blink.) You know what I need? I need something to drink. Maybe a cup of fresh hot tea will get my writing juices flowing...
